About
Kyra's art and photography has been exhibited by institutions such as Parsons Gallery, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Carnegie Hall, Royal Photographic Society, Arts First Festival Harvard, HubWeek Boston, Make Music Harlem Festival, and The Siraya Tribe Cultural Center in Taiwan. Her photograph was selected as one of the fifty works on The "Art, Write Now" National Tour in 2017. She received special commendations from National YoungArts in 2019. Her photography has received the National Gold Medal and the Best-in-Grade Award from Scholastic Arts and Writing.
Her creative writing has been published in Peripheries Journal and Rise Up Review. She has read her work at Grolier Poetry Bookshop. She's been recognized as a NCWIT Aspirations Award winner, an alum of Stanford SAILORS (now AI4All) 2017, a 2020 Presidential Scholar Nominee, a Davidson Young Scholar, and an alum of the Iowa Young Writer's Studio.
Kyra is now a sophomore at Harvard College.
